Sanader gave this statement on Wednesday commenting on Monday's incident when four Slovene policemen raided a construction site where Croatian workers were building a dyke on the left bank of the Mura River.
The dyke Croatia is building will protect settlements from floods on both sides of the river, the Croatian PM told reporters on the island of Brac.
If some problems crop up during construction works, we will be ready to call experts from both countries and consider their opinions, Sanader said, adding that he was in permanent contact with Slovene Prime Minister Janez Jansa regarding all outstanding issues.
A Croatian parliamentarian from Medjimurje County, Zeljko Pavlic, today expressed dissatisfaction with how the Sanader Cabinet was addressing incidents on the Croatian-Slovene border along the Mura River.
Pavlic believes that it is not enough for the PM to phone his Slovene colleague when incidents near Sveti Martin na Muri-Hotiza border crossing happen.
In this context he recalls that Zagreb sends protest notes to Ljubljana when similar incidents happen at the borderline in Istria
