In May, retail loans increased by new 2.2 billion kuna, with the annual growth rate of 24.6 percent. Retail loans totalled almost 85 billion kuna at the end of May, with a rise of 6.4 billion kuna through the first five months of this year.
All the bank placements increased by 31.8 billion kuna with the annual growth rate standing at 22.8 percent.
As regards retail loans, household loans accounted for 36.6 percent in late May as against 33 percent in May last year.
Corporate loans came over 68 billion kuna at the end of May, rising by about 830 million kuna from April, with the annual growth rate standing at 22.3 percent.
