BANJA LUKA, July 20 (Hina) - The remains of 298 Bosniaks, four Roma and three Croats, killed during the war in Bosnia, were buried in the northwestern Bosnian town of Prijedor on Thursday.
BANJA LUKA, July 20 (Hina) - The remains of 298 Bosniaks, four Roma and three Croats, killed during the war in Bosnia, were buried in the northwestern Bosnian town of Prijedor on Thursday.

The remains, that have been exhumed from several mass graves, were identified over the past several days.

The religious ceremony, led by the head of the Islamic community of Bosnia-Herzegovina, reis ul-ulema Mustafa efendi Ceric, was attended by the chairman of Bosnia's collective Presidency, Sulejman TIhic, Vice President of the Bosnian Serb entity Adil Osmanovic and representatives of the Croat and Bosniak peoples in Republika Srpska and Bosnia-Herzegovina.

According to the latest figures, a total of 3,600 Bosniaks, Croats and member of other ethnic communities from the Prijedor region went missing during the war. So far, the remains of 2,600 people were discovered and 1,372 were identified.
