Croatia, Robertz A. Bradtke, held talks with members of the National Federation
of Croatian Americans (NFCA) in Washington on Thursday, the Voice of America
reported on its web site. The National Federation of Croatian
Americans (NFCA) is an umbrella organisation linking ten Croatian American
organisations and several hundred individuals through a shared national agenda.
According to a statement issued by the NFCA, the meeting focused on
Croatia's membership of NATO. The US ambassador said Croatia made great
progress on its path to the alliance, adding that NATO enlargement would be on
the agenda of the summit in 2008.
