According to a statement issued by the Bosnian Transport and Communications today, during the final round of negotiations in London on Monday and Tuesday, all documents were adjusted so that Sarajevo could be granted a loan of 12 million euros for this project.
The signing of the agreement by Bosnian authorities and the EBRD is scheduled for the end of July.
According to the terms and conditions of the agreement, the loan will be granted for 15 years, and the first installment will be available to Sarajevo by the end of this year.
Earlier this month the European Force in Bosnia (EUFOR) transferred powers for the air traffic management to Bosnia's institutions. However, the country still has no technical capacities to carry out this job.
The control of the intermediate air space in Bosnia and Herzegovina is currently carried out by the air control in Zagreb, while the control of higher air space is divided between Zagreb and Belgrade.
