SARAJEVO, April 26 (Hina) - A session of the Bosnian parliament's
House of Representatives, which began a discussion on constitutional
amendments on Tuesday morning, was adjourned around 2AM Wednesday, at the
request of the Social Democratic Party (SDA). The debate will
continue at 15.00 hours Wednesday. The House of Peoples is also expected to
discuss constitutional amendments in the course of the day.
The president of the SDA club of deputies requested a recess saying that
deputies were tired, but it was quite obvious that the session was adjourned
because there was no majority for the adoption of the amendments.
Attending the session were ambassadors of the United States and the
European Union.
