ZAGREB, April 21 (Hina) - A ministerial meeting of the US-AdriaticCharter, to be attended by defence and foreign ministers from thethree member-countries of the Charter and their colleagues from threeBaltic countries, will be held on
the northern Adriatic archipelagoBrijuni on Tuesday, the Croatian Foreign Ministry said in astatement.
ZAGREB, April 21 (Hina) - A ministerial meeting of the US-Adriatic
Charter, to be attended by defence and foreign ministers from the three
member-countries of the Charter and their colleagues from three Baltic
countries, will be held on the northern Adriatic archipelago Brijuni on
Tuesday, the Croatian Foreign Ministry said in a statement. Croatia
will be represented by Foreign Affairs and European Integration Minister
Kolinda Grabar Kitarovic and Defence Minister Berislav Roncevic. All foreign
ministers have confirmed their attendance, the ministry said.
The meeting will be attended by foreign and defence ministers from
Macedonia, Albania, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, and officials from the United
States, whose arrival is yet to be officially confirmed.
The purpose of the meeting is to exchange experience in the expansion
of NATO so far, political and security issues relevant for participants in the
meeting, and prospects of further NATO expansion.
