The HNS moved the interpellation because it believes the Government has failed to fulfil its health programme.
The Government said the interpellation was groundless.
A majority of parliamentary deputies supported a bill on the security and intelligence system.
Slavko Linic of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) called on deputies to give a vote of no confidence in Deputy Prime Minister Damir Polancec, whom the SDP holds responsible for an unlawful settlement with the DOM and SN holding companies concerning the privatisation of the Liburnia Riviera Hotels, which Linic said was harmful to Croatia.
On behalf of the SDP, Linic said that Polancec, contrary to the arbitral award in the Chamber of the Economy, decided in favour of the holding companies by paying them 684 million kuna in Liburnia shares more than set by the arbitral award.
The SDP also asked the Government, parliament and all other state bodies to submit to the Office for the Suppression of Corruption and Organised Crime (USKOK) all data concerning the Liburnia deal.
Polancec said that all this was part of a political wrangling for which there were no real arguments.
Deputies continued today's sitting with a debate on the SDP proposal.
