A protocol on the donation, which consists of computers, printers, fax machines and digital cameras, was signed by Ambassador Frank and Croatian Minister of the Interior Ivica Kirin.
The equipment will be distributed to police stations and border police.
Frank and Kirin also signed a protocol on cooperation in police affairs envisaging assistance worth USD 3.8 million to the ministries of the interior and justice and the State Prosecutor's Office.
The US ambassador said that the Croatian government was making efforts to fight people trafficking and that Croatian police officers were well trained for identification, interviews and for the protection of potential victims.
