Cacic told a news conference in Zagreb on Thursday that the consequence of the policy of the current government was that Croatia was now the only country in Europe still in an economic downturn.
Cacic believes that "the disastrous 2010 with 122 billion in expenditures and 108 billion in revenues" will be repeated in 2011.
He said that the responsibility for this situation should be shared by the ruling Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) and its partners in the ruling coalition.
