This is Kostelic's first victory in the super-G which makes her one of the few women in the history of women's skiing who have won all of the sport's five disciplines. Besides Kostelic, Pernilla Wiberg of Sweden and Petra Kronberger of Austria have won all five disciplines.
Kostelic finished today's race with a time of 1:09.41. The second place was shared by Austria's Michaela Dorfmeister and Alexandra Meisnitzer, who had a time of 1:09.51.
Sweden's Anja Paerson did not finish the race.
