The slalom, which is the second race to be held on Sljeme within the FIS World Cup, is expected to attract between 20,000 and 25,000 spectators.
In addition to boosted security measures, special regulation of traffic in the Croatian capital will be introduced on that occasion and citizens are called on to use public transport.
Police officials have called on Croatian fans to support Croatian skiing stars Janica Kostelic, Nika Fleiss and Ana Jelusic, as well as other skiers, in a fair manner.
Alcohol and firecrackers will be banned on the venue.
The organisers of the sporting event have already reported that everything is ready for the race and that the maintenance of the Crveni Spust course on Sljeme is proceeding at full speed.
