ZAGREB, Jan 11 (Hina) - All documents pertaining to the arrest of journalist Domagoj Margetic, submitted by the Zagreb police to the Zagreb County Court, were sent to the Justice Ministry on Wednesday and will be forwarded to the Hague war crimes tribunal, Zagreb County Court officials said.

"Once the files are sent, the Justice Ministry will consider the case closed," Zagreb County Court vice-president Ratko Scekic told Hina.

Scekic dismissed Margetic's statement to the press that the County Court would rule that he be placed in custody today due to the danger of his repeating the criminal act he has committed and order a search of his and his mother's apartment.

Scekic explained that the Zagreb County Court could not take any measures without an order from the Hague tribunal which has indicted Margetic for publishing in the press parts of a testimony of a protected witness. The Zagreb court issued an order to the police, in line with a request by the Hague tribunal, to prevent Margetic from repeating the criminal act, and we acted in line with the Constitutional Law on Cooperation with the Hague tribunal, Scekic said.

The documents sent to the Justice Ministry also include a controversial CD with a recording of the protected witness's testimony. The police claim to have found the CD during a raid of the offices of the Croatian Association of Disabled War Veterans (HVIDRA) in Zagreb on Monday evening.
