Croatian president receives NATO Supreme Allied Commander for Transformation

ZAGREB, June 26 (Hina) - Croatian President Stjepan Mesic on Tuesday received General Lance L. Smith, NATO Supreme Allied Commander for Transformation, the President's Office said in a statement.

General Smith informed the Croatian president of the jurisdiction of the NATO Commander for Transformation and underlined excellent cooperation with Croatia in training, education and defence planning.

Mesic and Smith also talked about the participation of Croatia's contingent in the ISAF Mission in Afghanistan, the statement said.
