He said that 6.5 million would come from a Privredna Banka loan and 1.5 million kuna from memberships and donations. He added that the HNS would publish a list of its donors.
Ferencak said the foundation for securing the loan was the law on the financing of political parties, independent slates and candidates, and the law on amendments to the law on the election of deputies to the Croatian parliament.
Ferencak went on to say that only the HNS and the Social Democratic Party had published information on their election campaign budgets on their websites, although all political parties were obliged to do so by law.
The HNS called on all political parties, independent slates and candidates as well as candidates of national minorities to publish their campaign budgets before election day is scheduled. The parliamentary polls are expected to be held in the autumn.
