The conference is organised by the International League of Humanists (ILH) from Sarajevo.
The event will be addressed by Albanian President Alfred Moisiu, member of Bosnia-Herzegovina Presidency Nebojsa Radmanovic, Bulgarian President Georgi Prvanov, Montenegrin President Filip Vujanovic, Croatian President Mesic, Macedonian head of state Branko Crvenkovski, Slovenia President Janez Drnovsšek and Serbian President Boris Tadic.
This year's winners of the award "Statesman-Humanist of the 20th Century" will be announced ahead of the conference on Monday. The winners of this year's prize, awarded by the ILH are Croatian President Mesic and former presidents of the Czech republic, Slovania and Macedonia - Vaclav Havel, Milan Kucan and Kiro Gligorov, respectively.
