In relation to the situation in Serbia, Croatian PM Sanader expressed hope that democratic forces in that country would unify.
He added that Croatia would work together with the European Union and the United States in a bid to help this region to embark on a road towards the prosperity and future after 17 volatile years marked by wars.
Burns arrived in a Zagreb for a summit meeting of the Southeast European Cooperation Process (SEECP).
