SARAJEVO, April 24 (Hina) - Five babies who died in an orphanage
fire in Sarajevo on Sunday morning will be buried at the Vlakovo cemetery in
the Bosnian capital on Wednesday, which has also been declared a day of
mourning in the Sarajevo canton. Three boys and two girls, all of
them born in 2006 and in 2007, died of suffocation, according to the findings
of a forensic investigation.
A majority of 19 injured babies who have been treated at a hospital in
Sarajevo are now in a good condition and they are back in the orphanage.
The fire that broke early Sunday morning damaged a part of that
institution.
