Pusic said that the SDP was facing a difficult situation and had to make decisions regarding the party structure. "We want them to do it as soon as possible and as efficiently as possible so that we can continue cooperating and form a new government together after the elections," Pusic said.
Asked how the two parties planned to solve the issue of candidate for prime minister and to comment on speculation that the HNS would not form a coalition with the SDP if the latter elected Milan Bandic its new president, Cacic said that Bandic held a leading position in the SDP and that the HNS's position on the SDP had always been clear.
"Bandic has his role and position, and the SDP will always be our partner. But how things will develop in the SDP is for the SDP to decide," Cacic said.
