"More than 70 percent of data on land in Croatia has been transformed into electronic form and around 30 percent has been verified, with the ultimate goal being an electronic land register with information on the shape, number and area of a given land plot and its ownership status," Lorvin said.
Thanks to this project, in spring next year Varazdin is expected to become the first Croatian town with fully computerised land registers.
Speaking about the problem of overcrowded prisons in Croatia, Lovrin said that this problem concerned maximum security prisons, but that they were being expanded and new ones built.
