Croatian Adriatic city of Split on Tuesday launched the second in a series of
six cruisers commissioned by the US company Grand Circle River Cruise Line from
Boston. The vessel is 59 metres long, 10.7 metres wide and 4.5
metres high, and is capable of developing a speed of up to 13.7 knots.
The ship boasts 25 two-bed cabins, two one-bed accommodation units, a
sun deck, a large restaurant, a gym, and a dance floor. It can accommodate 54
passengers and 19 crew members.
The value of the six-ship program is estimated at 36 million euro, but
the final price will depend on the current situation on the market.
