sent a letter of condolence to his Indonesian counterpart Agung Laksono on
Tuesday after a strong earthquake had killed at least 70 people in the west of
the South Asian country. On behalf of the Croatian Parliament, Seks
extended his sympathy to all members of the Indonesian Parliament and the
families of those killed, the parliamentary public relations office said in a
press release.
An earthquake measuring 6.3 on the Richter scale hit Indonesia's
Sumatra island shortly before 05.00 hours Central European time on Tuesday,
leaving at least 70 people killed and hundreds injured.
