ZAGREB, March 2 (Hina) - Croatia's Foreign Affairs and European Integration Minister Kolinda Grabar Kitarovic met OSCE Secretary General Marc Perrin de Brichambaut and Albanian Foreign Minister Besnik Mustafaj on the margins of a meeting of Southeast European Cooperation Process (SEECP) foreign ministers in Zagreb on Friday.

The Croatian foreign ministry said in a statement that during her talks with the OSCE Secretary General, Grabar Kitarovic confirmed her government's full commitment to meeting the remaining requirements from the OSCE Mission mandate. This year the Croatian government will place special emphasis on the implementation of a housing program for returnees and the reform of the judicial system.

As for the Sarajevo Declaration, the Croatian government expects that after Serbia's new government is formed, the four countries that signed the Declaration would be able to conclude the process of refugee return by adopting a joint declaration on the final settlement of that issue, Grabar Kitarovic said.

Brichambaut confirmed that Spanish Foreign Minister Miguel Angel Moratinos would visit Croatia in March in his capacity as OSCE president.

Grabar Kitarovic and Albanian Foreign Minister Besnik Mustafaj agreed that political relations between the two countries were very good and without outstanding issues and that this year the two countries would mark the 15th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations.

Mustafaj congratulated Croatia on the excellent organisation of the SEECP meeting and conveyed his government's support to Croatia's SEECP presidency. He underlined the very good political relations and the importance Albania attached to its relations with Croatia, and advocated closer ties in the economy, notably in the energy sector.

Grabar Kitarovic expressed satisfaction with the intensive political cooperation in the past year and the signing of important cooperation agreements in the areas of tourism, culture and economy. She thanked Albania for its support to Croatia's candidacy for non-permanent membership of the UN Security Council and pointed to the very good and intensive cooperation between countries-signatories to the US-Adriatic Charter.
