Speaking at a joint press conference, Lucic and his Slovene counterpart Albin Gutman said military cooperation was fruitful and likely to intensify.
Lucic highlighted the importance of Slovenia's experience in joining NATO, similarities in military reorganisation and adjustment to NATO standards.
The talks also addressed participation in international peace missions.
Asked about the issue of border demarcation on Sveta Gera hill, Lucic said it stemmed from the break-up of the former Yugoslavia and that it should be settled on the political level.
