Mesic said "Rupel was very well aware that we have a defined land border and a defined exit point of the land border at the sea so the sea border can easily be established with mathematical precision", Mesic told reporters after the presentation of a report of the UN development Programme on social exclusion in Croatia.
Commenting on Mesic's statement that the sea border between the two countries could be established because the land border has been defined, Rupel said on Wednesday that the Croatian president was wrong and that the borders at sea had never been established because this required an agreement.
