Seks was on a two-day official visit to Montenegro, and during his first day in the Montenegrin capital he met Parliament Speaker Ranko Krivokapic, Foreign Minister Milan Rocen and Prime Minister Zeljko Sturanovic.
Trade between the two countries amounts to 28.5 million euros. Montenegrin exports to Croatia have increased 36 percent in recent years, while Croatian exports to Montenegro have gone up 114 percent.
With no other country does Montenegro have such dynamic relations as it does with Croatia, Rocen said, adding that relations between Zagreb and Podgorica could set an example in the region.
Seks and Montenegrin PM Sturanovic discussed the current political situation in Montenegro. Montenegro's new constitution is expected to define Montenegro as a civil state, Sturanovic said.
On Tuesday Seks is expected to meet President Filip Vujanovic and visit the Croat community in the coastal town of Kotor.
