ZAGREB, Feb 1 (Hina) - The Croatian government has proposed that Parliament appoint media expert Srecko Lipovcan, finance expert Aleksandar Adler, legal expert Gordana Carevic and IT expert Damir Pavuna as members of the Hina Governing Council.

The proposal was put forward by Culture Minister Bozo Biskupic in the closed part of a government session on Thursday.

Lipovcan is a university lecturer, newspaper editor and publisher. According to his CV, he has worked as a reporter in various print media and at radio stations since 1962.

Adler has been working for the past six years as a brand manager in ice-cream maker Ledo.

Carevic worked in the Culture Ministry's Administrative Services Department from 2002 to 2006. Last May she became head of the legal department of the Lado folk dance ensemble.

Pavuna is the director and owner of IT firm Integra.

Under the Hina Act, the Governing Council has five members -- a media expert, a finance expert, a legal expert, an IT expert, and a representative of the agency's staff.

The government earlier nominated Vladimir Lulic as representative of the staff. Lulic was proposed by the Hina Staff Council.
