The project, financed by the European Union with about EUR 576,000 from December 2005 to December 2006, was designed for noninstitutional training programmes, care for victims of domestic violence, noninstitutional care for the elderly and infirm, and the introduction of new services for the blind and visually impaired.
The purpose of the project was to improve the standards of social services provided by nonprofit organisations, primarily civil society organisations in Croatia, in partnership with state and local government institutions.
