The prosecution had previously asked for the detention of the two generals, accused of war crimes during the 1993 Medak Pocket Operation, but the County Court's panel of judges last week rejected its request.
The judges, however, warned Ademi that he must not leave his place of residence, that he must report to the police every first Tuesday in a month and that he must not tamper with witnesses.
Norac, who is serving a 12-year prison term in Glina for war crimes committed against civilians in the Gospic area in 1991, was forbidden from contacting witnesses.
The judges said that the cautionary measures would serve the same purpose as detention, warning the accused that their failure to abide by the order would result in more stringent measures or detention.
The spokeswoman for the Office of the Chief State Prosecutor, Martina Mihordin, told Hina today that the appeal had been submitted on Monday, but declined to comment on the contents of the document.
The Office of the Supreme Court President said today that the appeal had not yet been received.
