ZAGREB, Jan 11 (Hina) - The Croatian Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic, on Thursday visited two Iraqi girls who were being treated at the Children's Hospital in Zagreb as part of Croatia's
humanitarian assistance to Iraq, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration said in a press release.
ZAGREB, Jan 11 (Hina) - The Croatian Minister of Foreign Affairs
and European Integration, Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic, on Thursday visited two
Iraqi girls who were being treated at the Children's Hospital in Zagreb as part
of Croatia's humanitarian assistance to Iraq, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
and European Integration said in a press release. Grabar-Kitarovic
was accompanied by two Iraqi diplomats who were attending a four-month course
on business diplomacy at the Ministry's Diplomatic Academy as part of a
programme of development aid.
The purpose of the Croatian government's humanitarian and development
aid programme is to contribute to the recovery and development of Iraq and
provide direct assistance to citizens of the country affected by the
consequences of war and lack of stability, the press release said.
