ZAGREB, Dec 19 (Hina) - Croatia could open three new policy chapters with the European Union by the end of this week, the head of the European Commission Delegation to Croatia, Vincent Degert, said at the presentation of the results of the CARDS programme "Development of the Business and Investment Climate in Croatia" in Zagreb on Tuesday.
ZAGREB, Dec 19 (Hina) - Croatia could open three new policy chapters with the European Union by the end of this week, the head of the European Commission Delegation to Croatia, Vincent Degert, said at the presentation of the results of the CARDS programme "Development of the Business and Investment Climate in Croatia" in Zagreb on Tuesday.

There is a chance that a maximum of three policy chapters could be opened, on enterprises and industrial policy, economic and monetary policy, and on the customs union, Degert said.

The chapters are expected to be opened, but they will not be closed on the same day, which was the case with negotiations on the policy chapters on science and research and culture and education, Degert added.
