Seventy-seven per cent of the company's creditors supported a restructuring plan adopted in May.
Konstruktor attorney Tomislav Krka told reporters the settlement would make it possible for half of the company's 2,000 workers to keep their jobs.
The company owes its workers seven monthly salaries for 2012. Krka said this debt was incurred before the settlement was reached and that all salaries for this year were paid.
About 1,100 creditors claimed nearly HRK 2 billion (approx. 263.260 euros) from Konstruktor. The restructuring plan was accepted by banks and suppliers, while the state voted against it.
Under the settlement, the largest creditors should become the company's owners. The media said the company's director had found a strategic partner for Konstruktor.
