"We can fight, we can talk about the Cyrillic in Vukovar, but tomorrow we must be dignified," he told reporters.
The opposition leader said that on Monday all patriots would bow not only to Vukovar's war veterans, but to all who had given their lives for a free Croatia.
Commenting on the state of the nation, Karamarko reiterated that the ruling coalition had brought Croatia into a cul-de-sac and was only generating scandals. "The HDZ is again under fire from the regime media, which reminds us of the distant times of Yugoslavia," he said, especially criticising the national broadcaster.
He also criticised President Ivo Josipovic for not wanting to "understand and accept" the constitutional law on national minorities' rights
