OSIJEK, Nov 11
(Hina) - Following the announcement of a ban on
public subsidies for regional and local airports in the European
Union, a group of members of the European Parliament from several
countries have sent an open letter to European Commission President
Jose Manuel Barroso asking him to abandon that plan, the Osijek office
of MEP Biljana Borzan, one of the signatories of the letter, said in a
statement on Monday.
