Opening the event, Croatian Chamber of Trades and Crafts president Dragutin Ranogajec said the Chamber had asked for an enterprise ministry and got it but that there was a problem, not because of the Chamber, but because no one could convince the minister that he was not right.
Ranogajec said the Chamber had for two years been calling for the enforcement of a law banning unregistered activities, but that the ministry had not responded to the Chamber's proposals. On the other hand, he said cooperation on the local level was good.
County Prefect Darko Koren said the ministry had not supported that last two editions of the fair.
Krizevci Deputy Mayor Tomislav Katanovic said the local business zone was attractive for investment.
The president of the county Chamber of Commerce, Miroslav Vitkovic, said the county's exports were US$ 155 million.
The fair closes on November 10.
