The public debt's share in gross domestic product in the euro area at the end of Q2 was 93.4 per cent, as against 92.3% in Q1 and 89.9% in last year's Q2.
In the EU-28, the public debt's share in GDP at the end of Q2 was 86.8%, as against 85.9% in Q1 and 84.7% in last year's Q2.
In Croatia, the public debt accounted for 59.5% of GDP at the end of Q2, as against 57.4% in Q1 and 54.1% in last year's Q2.
Eurostat said the figures were provisory given the alignment of Croatia's reporting system with European standards.
