The goal is to position Croatia not only as a regional centre for entrepreneurial learning, but one for the entire European Union, Entrepreneurship and Crafts Minister Gordan Maras said, adding that such a centre was under construction in Zagreb, the first of its kind in Europe, to be completed in two years.
We have the know-how, the experience, the experts and have been recognised, as evidenced by the fact that the European Commission has doubled to EUR 4 million the funds for SEECEL projects, he added.
SEECEL director Efka Heder said the goal of the conference was to create an entrepreneurial society ready to economically develop and implement the rule of lawin the long term.
The conference is the first step in the development of entrepreneurially literate societies and the alignment of national policies with EU recommendations and policies on life-long entrepreneurial learning, she added.
