"I am pleased with the atmosphere at the negotiations. We agreed that INA should develop in accordance with the interests of the Croatian government," he told reporters after the first meeting of government and MOL representatives.
"We agreed and discussed in a little more detail every topic within the framework negotiating programme which the government adopted and the colleagues accepted," said Vrdoljak, who heads the Croatian government's team.
He said the negotiating teams agreed to meet again in about a month. "We will then discuss item by item, the topics in the negotiating framework and we will discuss them with our partners in MOL."
"The atmosphere is good and there is good will on both sides. Our interest is to preserve and develop INA to be in accordance with the strategic interests of the Republic of Croatia. It's evident that MOL representatives are willing for such cooperation," said Vrdoljak.
