The Association also condemned the politicians who, it said, passed the constitutional law on national minorities' rights "knowing that it could be manipulated, but did not have the willingness to implement that law".
In a statement signed by its president Tomislav Mercep, the Association hopes that the Croatian state and all of its institutions will take all the necessary measures so that the problems following the placement of signs in Latin and Cyrillic on public institutions in Vukovar can be solved in a peaceful, civilised and dignified manner to mutual satisfaction.
