ZAGREB, Aug 28
(Hina) - In the appeal proceedings at the
International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) in
The Hague against six former high-ranking officials of the wartime
Bosnian Croat entity of Herceg-Bosna who were sentenced in May to
sentences between 10 and 25 years for crimes committed against the
Muslim population during the 1992-1995 war in Bosnia and Herzegovina,
the prosecution has asked that they be found guilty of all other forms
of responsibility which the trial chamber omitted to sentence them for
and that they be given "significantly higher" prison sentences, the
ICTY reported on Wednesday.
