ZAGREB, June 14
(Hina) - Unofficial information on the decision of
Nova Ljubljanska Banka (NLB), with the prior consent of the Slovenian
government, to sell a stock in Slovenian retail chain Mercator to the
Zagreb-based Agrokor has not yet been confirmed. Slovenian media
however reported on Friday morning that according to "unofficial but
verified reports" a decision to this effect has been made and that
this could now be a signal to other members of a consortium of
Mercator's main shareholders that have been conducting final
negotiations with the Croatian private retail and food group.
