Hague first met with Serbian Foreign Minister Ivan Mrkic, followed by separate meetings with President Tomislav Nikolic, Prime Minister Ivica Dacic, and Deputy PM Aleksandar Vucic, telling them that progress in the application of the agreement on the normalisation of relations with Kosovo would be a guarantee of further progress in European integration.
Progress on the ground will be a guarantee of further progress towards a future and membership in European Union as well as towards the security and stability of Serbian citizens, Vucic's office quoted Hague as saying.
After Belgrade, Hague will visit Zagreb for a two-day official visit.
