Autor: half
ZAGREB, May 21 (Hina) - During June, ahead of its European Union accession on July 1, Croatia will continue to present its culture and arts at the "Welcome Croatia" festival in Great Britain and the "Kroatien Kreativ" festival in Germany.

In early June, the "Croatian Latinists" symposium will be held at the British Library, bringing together British and Croatian experts. It will include a talk on Croatia's place in the international monetary system ahead of its EU entry, with Croatian National Bank governor Boris Vujcic in attendance.

Croatia will participate in the "Atlas of the Unbuilt World" international exhibition for the London Festival of Architecture 2013. A draft model of Zagreb Airport's new passenger terminal will be displayed in Bartlett. Architecture will also be the topic of the "Between Utopia and Pragmatism: Architecture and Urban Planning in Yugoslavia" exhibition at the Southwark Council.

Europe House will host the "Croatia at the Crossroads" international archaeological conference which will examine Croatia's links with neighbouring nations and cultures from ancient history to the Middle Ages. It is being organised by eminent British archaeology professors who are currently working on research projects in Croatia.

Europe House will also host the "Croatian Archaeological Heritage" exhibition.

During June, the traditional Istrian little stone house "kazun" will be built in Peak National Park and the "Welcome Croatia" festival will end with the ringing of church bells in Hampstead near the Croatian Embassy on June 30.

During the "Kroatien Kreativ" festival in Germany, two exhibitions will be held at the Danube Swabian Museum in Ulm. "Croatian Day" will also be held to promote Croatian cuisine, traditional music and tourism.

Croatian plays will be performed at Berlin's Theater an der Parkaue and at the Schauspielhaus in Frankfurt.

Rostok University will host a talk by Ludwig Steindorff, a Southeastern Europe history teacher, who will talk about Croatia's history and its relations with its neighbours.

Frankfurt will host "Croatian Week" from June 27 to July 2, promoting Croatia's cultural diversity.
