Thirteen member countries, the European Parliament and the EU Delegation to Croatia had booths at which they distributed promotional material about EU institutions and the history, tourism and culture of the member countries.
The 13 countries were Austria, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Poland, Romania and Sweden.
Thanks to the Erasmus programme, 3,000 Croatian students have studied abroad and 700 foreign students have done so in Croatia since 2011.
"The celebration of Europe Week ends but it will never end. In 50 days and all the time after that it will be European week and month and year and century," said Croatian Foreign and European Affairs Minister Vesna Pusic.
She opened Europe Week on Monday together with the head of the EU Delegation, Paul Vandoren. The central event was Europe Day on May 9.
