ZAGREB, May 8
(Hina) - Croatia's Supreme Court has rejected an
appeal of former Croatian First Deputy Prime Minister Radimir Cacic
against a verdict regarding a fatal road accident in Hungary and,
thus, upheld Zagreb County Court's judgement that ruled the same way
as the Hungarian relevant court, sentencing this former Croatian
official to 22 months of prison for having caused a car accident on a
motorway in Hungary in January 2010 in which two people were killed.
