The component consists of aid in transition and the strengthening of institutions, financing projects in the judiciary, internal affairs, human rights, anti-discrimination, NGOs, the protection of cultural and natural resources, taxes, transport, health and environmental protection.
The deadline for contracting the funds was May 5. The government will co-finance EUR 6.23 million of the 100 contracts signed for the implementation of 20 projects envisaged by a financial agreement between the European Commission and the Croatian government.
The deadline for completing the projects is 5 May 2015. All payments must be made by 5 May 2016.
