"I'm backing this up with Minister Ostojic's recent statement that he would resign if his party chief decided so," Hrelja told Hina, adding that Ostojic had said that in the context of Jakovic's conflict with Prime Minister Zoran Milanovic.
Asked if the IDS might leave the ruling coalition, in which the HSU is a junior partner, Hrelja said it would be a big pity for the IDS and for Istria County.
"It would be responsible if the IDS replaced Ostojic at the helm of the Tourism Ministry with another quality man, given that many people from Istria are in Zagreb working on very significant and valuable programmes for Croatia," said Hrelja.
