Bosnian Serb entity government to step down on Wednesday

Autor: half
SARAJEVO, Feb 26 (Hina) - The government of Bosnia's Serb entity, Republika Srpska, will step down on Wednesday and a prime minister designate will be appointed the same day, RS President Milorad Dodik said on Tuesday.

Dodik was speaking to the press after a meeting with the presidents of the SPRS and DNS parties, Petar Djokic and Marko Pavic respectively, the coalition partners of his SNSD.

They agreed to form a new government although, like now, most of the ministers will come from the SNSD.

The entity parliament might be convened by the end of this week to approve the prime minister designate to be nominated by Dodik.

The opposition parties in RS have criticised the way in which the government resignation has been announced and is being carried out, saying this might not lead to changes on the economic and social fronts in the recession-hit Bosnian entity.
