SARAJEVO, Feb 10
(Hina) - The new apostolic nuncio in Bosnia and
Herzegovina and Montenegro, Archbishop Luigi Pezzuto, arrived in
Sarajevo on Sunday and the Archbishop of Sarajevo, Cardinal Vinko
Puljic, said this represented an important encouragement for the
survival of Catholics in the country.
Welcoming the nuncio at Sarajevo's airport, Puljic said he expected Pezzuto to continue with the implementation of the basic agreement between the Holy See and Bosnia.
Pezzuto said he respected all religions and cultures in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and that he was open to dialogue with everyone.
