BELGRADE, Dec 30
(Hina) - The head of the Serbian Orthodox Church,
Patriarch Irinej, believes that a visit by Pope Benedict XVI to Serbia
on the occasion of the 1700th anniversary of the Milan Edict in Nis in
2013 could contribute to dialogue between the Orthodox and the
Catholic Churches and the top Serbian Orthodox dignitary was quoted by
Radio Belgrade as saying on Sunday that he was personally in favour of
inviting the pontiff, but that others did not share his opinion.
